Dr. Jack Deere is an equipper and trainer for the body of Christ. He has planted churches, authored best-selling books, and spoken in conferences in worldwide. As a professor and Hebrew scholar at Dallas Theological Seminary (1976-1987), Jack became convinced that miracles, healings, prophecy, and the gifts of the Spirit were meant to be used today. This conviction (along with personal experience with many miraculous healings) led Jack to resign from Dallas and join the staff of Anaheim Vineyard Christian Fellowship with Pastor John Wimber. Jack has ministered as pastor, seminary professor, and church planter, being greatly used by God to help ordinary believers experience outpourings of God's power and presence. Jack currently pastors Wellspring Church in Texas, whose mission is “to help people grow in their friendship with Jesus and friendship with one another, using the gifts of the Holy Spirit to extend both of these friendships.”

Jack writes and speaks extensively on Gifts of the Spirit, The Holy Spirit in the Life of Christ, A Beginner’s Guide to Prophecy, Hearing the Voice of God, Prophetic Ministry in the Church, The Role of Prayer and the Spirit in Healing, etc. We will also have ministry times for prayer, healing, and waiting on the Lord throughout the weekend.
